1. What this covers
This page explains what we collect when you buy from Horizon, why we hold it, and what we will never do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.
2. What we collect
When you buy a guide we receive your name, your email address and the country your card was issued in. We also receive a record of what you bought and when. That is the whole of it.
We do not receive or store your full card number. Payment is handled by Shopify Payments, and the card details go to them, never to us.
3. Why we hold it
To send you the file you paid for, to answer you if you write to us, and to keep the accounting records the law requires us to keep. Nothing else.
4. What we do not do
We do not sell your details. We do not rent them, trade them or hand them to data brokers. We do not add you to a mailing list because you bought something, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
5. Who else sees it
Only the services needed to run the store: Shopify, which hosts it and processes payment, and our email provider, which delivers the file. Both are bound by their own obligations as processors. No one else.
6. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, then deleted. Support emails are kept while the question is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.
7. Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will answer within 30 days. We will not ask you to justify the request, and exercising it never affects the guides you already bought.
8. Cookies
The store uses the cookies Shopify needs to keep a cart working and to keep the site secure. You can block them in your browser; the checkout may stop working if you do.
